Possibly MAJOR Ross Sullivan writing find in yearbook

Postby morf13 » Wed Dec 06, 2017 11:30 pm

A member here obtained a yearbook that contains what he claims is extensive writing from Ross. I have seen parts of it, and simply put, this is either a hoax/forgery or Ross Sullivan wrote the Bates and Zodiac letters- there are no other possibilities. I am putting this member in touch with Zodiac investigators, so stay tuned. If the member feels comfortable posting what he can here for now, I hope he will, then later post more. Thanks

We see a lot of this in Zodiac's writing.

Handwriting analysts at AnnaKoren cite the following characteristics as indicative of 'schizoid' behavior, often associated with serial killers:

Vigilant and tense handwriting.

Extremely strong pressure.

Angles, Arcades, Separation, Narrowness, Peculiarities and exaggeration.

Extremely wide spaces between words or identical to the spaces between letters.

Covering strokes, Emphasized upper zone, Left of upright slant.

Frozen, Tense strokes, High upper zone, Large or extreme height differentials.

At times - a weak stroke, Secondary narrowness.

Angular connections, Rhythmic writing.

Covering the whole page, Strange ending of letters.

"Invented," Twisted or Broken letters.

Corrections, especially "artistic corrections."

Abundance of punctuation marks or lack of them.

I'm moving this Q&A over here as it directly relates to the yearbook in question and this is probably a better place for the entire discussion than the introduction section.

Based on some of the symbols I think people have theorized for years that Zodiac was a ham radio operator

Yes, I'm aware of that, however I am referring to a specific thing. I'm working from memory here so forgive me if I am wrong.

I believe there was a letter sent to authorities about a suspect, the person who sent the letter said another person had been visiting this suspect and serendipitously obtaining information from the suspect. They were afraid this person's life was in danger. Maybe that's enough for everyone to know what I am talking about.

I can't recall which suspect it is however, I think Marshall, it might have been Kane, I don't think it was Sullivan. I looked for the letter but can't remember where I saw it. Anyway, the letter also says something about a couple of HAM radio operators who heard someone on the radio saying Zodiac type things, they thought the person was actually Zodiac. The letter writer associated it with their suspect because their suspect was supposed to be a HAM radio operator.

I'd just like to find that letter again and read through it. I believe the letter writer's claim of their suspect being a HAM radio operator was speculation, so the radio transmission heard by the two other operators might have been Sullivan is what I'm thinking. I can't remember but there might have been some specifics in what was said on the radio. Just trying to cover all the possibilities here.

Thanks to anyone who can show me where to find that letter.

This is exciting. The small samples for most of the letters given in the other thread did not really convince me, but the z does look exactly as the mysterious scribble in the Bates letters. It is not something that would be found replicated in many different handwritings unlike the loops, leaning or spaces between letters that seem to get compared here most of the time.

Just when I began to think that perhaps the case is stalling again, despite the History Channel show. Hopefully this will make the family decide to give a DNA sample.
