I think it was called Unfriended. I wanted to see that, it looked pretty funny.

I started watching, but haven't finished, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, which is a modern vampire story. The director is an Iranian American woman, so that is the cultural setting for the film. An original idea, but it's merely subtext and doesn't really add anything deep to the film outside of a setting.

That was the same problem I had with It Follows. It left me wanting a deeper meaning to the symbolism of the film that just wasn't really there. It's pretty much a simple and straightforward story. It was more creative than A Girl, but both films I felt valued style over substance. But that's OK, I prefer an artistic movie to the typical CGI explosionfest.

Another film I haven't seen, but I think fits the same theme is Under The Skin.

I liked "It Follows" and I don't care what anyone thinks, LOL. That was damned original film-making, to me.!!

No, I liked It Follows. It was one of the better films I saw this year. Amazing soundtrack. I just can't help but be a film critic, especially if it's a movie that I liked. If it's dumb, then there is no point in thinking about it.

It was. Very atmospheric and sometimes overlooked (the importance of) these days in horror films. It was reminiscent of 'Halloween' for me in this aspect.

It Follows was pretty decent. Unfriended was the movie I had mentioned. I would recommend not wasting time on that movie, it is awful.

How about THE flick that, horrorwise, has everyTHING? Soundtrack, quality actors, plot, dialogue and, not least, special effects.
